The Orting Alumni Scholarship Foundation is committed to offering life-long support and encouragement to Orting alumni through the promotion of educational opportunities with monetary support through scholarships. In keeping with the philosophy of helping Orting High School students and alumni to succeed, the Orting Alumni Scholarship Foundation believes that all graduates wishing to pursue their educational goals should have that opportunity.

Unlike many other organizations, we have a unique community, school system, and scholarship foundation.  Not only are we alumni, but we are friends helping fellow alumni succeed by making contributions to the OASF.  Each year money is donated to the OASF and is deposited into an investment account, making it possible to award scholarships to current graduates and past alumni of Orting High School.  The foundation began back in 1984 by passing the hat at the annual Orting Alumni Association banquet and awarding a single scholarship.  But thanks to the generosity of Orting alumni and friends, the Foundation is now able to award multiple scholarships every year. 

The OASF appreciates the commitment to this program of higher education by all the Orting alumni and friends that continue to support it through their donations of both time and money.  Through your generosity, we can all make a difference in someone's life.
