Orting Middle School is a First Alert Weather Center, which is linked together with other area schools using the SchoolNet program on the Internet. On this site you will find features like InstaCam, Hurricane Net, Stormpedia, weather graphics, forecasts, and radar and satellite images. Images are updated every hour, and real-time data from SchoolNet participating schools is updated every second.

First Alert WeatherNet Classroom offers interactive curriculum, interesting weather facts, a weather encyclopedia, and much more. This site is a great place to go for research for school projects! Students and parents can test their weather knowledge using the daily weather trivia feature.
