Administrative Changes at OHS beginning July, 2009

Jon Bell the current Assistant Principal at OHS has accepted a new position as the Orting School District Support Services Director. After 8 years as a building administrator, he is looking forward to new challenges of this district position. He also has some previous experience as a special education director. Orting High School has been fortunate to have Mr. Bell and we feel grateful that he will remain in close proximity and continue to work with us in his new capacity.
Janette Bergen will be replacing Mr. Bell as the OHS Assistant Principal. She has even more secondary experience and has been a strong supporter of the “Cardinals” during her 11 years in the district. She also brings 8 years of high school teaching and coaching experience with her, in addition to her time at the middle level. She is familiar with many of the Orting families. We are excited to have her join the Orting High School administrative team. |
