Steve Tarry

Mr. Tarry began to teach in 1967 after completing his degree at the University of Washington.  He started teaching in Orting in 1968.  His main subjects are English and social studies, but he has taught math, Spanish, art, drafting, speech, drama, and other courses.  So far, he's never taught science.  Not even once.

This semester, he's teaching Shakespeare, Creative Writing, and American Literature.

In his time away from school, he enjoys performing at local theatres and he is the proud new owner of an old sailboat.
