Biographical Info:

I graduated from Central Washington University in 2004 with degrees in Spanish-Teaching and Geography.  This is my 6th year teaching, and my second in the Orting School District.  During the 2008-2009 school year, I also completed my National Board for Professional Teaching Standards Portfolio and Assessment, and expect to receive my results in December.

Supply List for Spanish

  1. Pencils or Pens (blue, black, or green)
  2. A separate 3-ring binder for Spanish only
  3. Plenty of loose leaf paper (college or standard rule)
  4. Covered textbook
  5. Workbook (Spanish 1 and Spanish 2)

Purchasing a Workbook

Students in Spanish 1 and Spanish 2 use workbooks on a daily basis.  These workbooks must be purchased.  The cost is now $18.00.

There are two options to provide students with workbook.

  1. Immediate Purchase-
Pay the $18.00 by cash or check to Mrs. Candler in the OHS Office.  She will provide a receipt at the time of payment.  Take the receipt to Mr. McNinch in exchange for the workbook.
  2. Delayed Purchase-
Complete and sign an Agreement for Delayed Purchase form  (available under the Class Documents Tab).  Take the completed form to Mr. McNinch in exchange for the workbook.

The Agreement for Delayed Purchase allows students to receive the workbook in such case as the family is unable to immediately pay, allowing them to budget the expense for the future.

All workbook fees must be paid in order for the student to receive grades at the end of the semester in late January.
